Socrates is a skills-testing platform targeted towards employers looking to hire potential team members with specific skillsets. The platform allows users to select from a collection of quizzes or the ability to craft their own quizzes tailored towards a specific position.
The hiring process in any field can be difficult especially when it comes to verifying that applicants have the skills and qualifications that they claim to. The solution: Create a simple quizzing platform that employers can test on potential employee's to confirm whether or not they would serve as a beneficial addition to their team.
In order to visualize the process that our users would go through when exploring Socrates, I created a journey map. By outlining all of the actions that users could take, I was able to optimize each screen and create a seamless user experience.
The intention behind the branding of Socrates was to create a modern, yet engaging visual experience. I went with with a dark mode interface as to not overwhelm the users eyes while staring at a plethora of quizzes. The background is complemented with pops of bright blue, orange, and green to give the platform an inviting feel.
After creating an account, users will be redirected to their dashboard. From here, they can browse through a selection of quizzes or create their own quiz from scratch.
Users also have the ability to create their own quiz that is tailored towards skillsets within their specific field. They can insert their own questions and images and customize everything from the category, time limit, and color of the quiz.
